Creating meaningful change through therapy

There is a particular kind of person who finds their way here. Thoughtful, self-aware, accomplished in the ways the world measures accomplishment. And quietly aware that something essential remains unexamined.

This work is for people who are ready to look at that. Not to manage it better, but to understand it fully. To trace the beliefs and patterns that have shaped their inner life, often since childhood, and to do something genuine about them.

If that is you, I would be glad to talk.

"Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”

About Elisa Nebolsine, LCSW Therapist, Educator, and Author

After more than 25 years in practice, I am just as engaged by this work as I was at the start. I trained rigorously in CBT and EMDR, and that grounding never leaves the room. But the work I do now is depth-oriented, drawing on Jungian psychology and the existential questions that surface when people commit to genuine self-inquiry.

I work with high-functioning adults who are intellectually curious and ready for substantive work. I also write and teach, and I serve as adjunct faculty at the Beck Institute and Catholic University. Washingtonian Magazine has named me a top therapist in four distinct categories.
